Each 5 Gram PAMP Suisse Lunar Ox Gold Bar in this product listing comes with a sealed blisterpack housing the bar. The bar is secured in a central capsule in the pack and features an assay card around the bar inside of the packaging. The assay card offers the mint name and series name on the obverse side, with a date mark of 2021 included.

The other side of the assay card includes details on the bar, such as its weight, purity, and metal content, as well as a unique serial number assigned by PAMP Suisse.
 
2021 is the Year of the Ox on the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Known as the Zodiac, the lunar calendar follows a 12-year cycle that repeats every time it reaches its conclusion. The Zodiac always begins with the Year of the Mouse and concludes with the Year of the Pig. The second animal to feature in the cycle is the ox.

Used for thousands of years as a draft animal for agricultural work, the ox was prized for its strength and workability. In this design, the ox is shown near a small body of water as it leans down to get a drink of water. There is a small tree in the background that serves as the focal point of the reverse field.
 
On the reverse side of 5 Gram PAMP Suisse Lunar Ox Gold Bars, you will find the same scene as viewed from a different angle. Here, you can see that same tree as it obscures a portion of the ox as it drinks from the water. There is an abandoned wooden wheel near the base of the tree and a large wooden crate with a treasure trove of gold coins inside.
